Jupiter's Crown

God, I love AMELIE…talk about a movie that constantly reminds of how lacking films are nowadays. This was a sweet, simple story about a shy girl who becomes a do-gooder after she finds a time capsule left by one of her apartment’s previous inhabitants. And while that plot does not seem as exciting as a movie about car chases, aliens, and vampires, it is presented in such an entertaining way, using great (now) iconic music, amazing acting, and visual effects that actually enhance the story. Yes, it is in French, and you will have to read subtitles (unless you already known French), but it is worth every second you spend watching it. It may, in fact, change your life.
